The coming Big Quake in Utah

Image
Yesterday a 5.7 shook Magna, Utah and was felt through Salt Lake County and into the surrounding counties. Thankfully there were no injuries or fatalities. There was some damage. The moderate shaker was been rightfully called a wake up for the people of Utah. A bigger earthquake is coming. When isn't known. I have several posts related to earthquakes in Utah, and I've mentioned how Hector Sosa has said he was told there would be a two day sign before the first Big One. In his book he didn't know what the two day sign would be. But on his book's forums he has said it was revealed to him that the sign would be a dormant cinder cone volcano becoming active again. I inquired where this cinder cone might be since there aren't any around the Salt Lake area. I said: "I think it's interesting that the 2-day sign is a dormant cinder cone volcano waking up. Because you said it's a dormant cinder cone volcano it is either one we already know about or it wi

The next recession is upon us

Well, it's not what I expected. And I wish I could go back a couple of months and sell some stocks, but I was too busy at the time. Anyway, I've been expecting a recession before the presidential election. Right now, if the elections were held I'm 100% certain the Democrat candidate would become the next president. Even four months from now it would be the same. However, this recession (it hasn't been declared but it's very likely that the first and second quarters of the year will mark the recession) is different than most. It's being caused by an external, non-financial factor. While there are industries that will take months, if not longer, to recover the economy as a whole could recover much quicker. Will it be a "V", with a strong crash and then quick recovery? Probably not, but I don't think it will take too long. I'm not sure if it will be back at the levels it was earlier this year for a while, but it'd be nice if it is. I w

Is this how the feather becomes short?

There have been some people who thought President Trump would get assassinated soon after he was elected. I never thought that was much of a possibility. But could something else take him out of office? Personally I'd rather Trump remain as president than have a Democrat in that office. Trump may have issues, but he's done more to try to keep, maintain, and protect our Constitutional rights than any Democrat and even more than many Republicans. There have been some dreams that some interpreted as the country being destroyed after Obama, or split apart. Well the divisions didn't start with Trump. And they really didn't even start with Obama, although they were becoming more pronounced during his presidency. Under Trump the country has become more divided into various "tribes" and not just Democrat and Republican. Even under those parties there are divisions. In a past post I wrote about a prophesy in the Book of Esdras that had eagle feathers. https://fu

Restricted Church Meetings

Back on October 2018 I commented on the two-hour church block of meetings. https://fulnessoftimes.blogspot.com/2018/10/new-meeting-schedule.html In case you haven't heard, in various countries (mostly in Asia) church meetings have been cancelled or reduced to absolute minimum or otherwise had meeting schedules adjusted. Missions and missionaries are being affected. In some places the temples have been closed. The Seattle Temple has become the first temple in the US to close. https://www.ldsliving.com/Missionaries-in-Various-Countries-to-Be-Sent-Home-Receive-Change-in-Assignment-Due-to-Coronavirus/s/92493?utm_source=ldsliving&utm_medium=email The Church is cautious and does not want to put members into unneeded risk. As I mentioned in the October 2018 post, part of the reason for the shift to home centered teaching of the Gospel is so members can still strengthen their testimonies, even if they aren't able to attend church. In that post I stated, "I beli

Corona Fear

CNN is on the TV in one of the breakrooms. I walk past it several times a day and to me it looks like many of the reports are almost giddy with the hype this virus has created...or which the media has created about the virus. I'm not discounting the seriousness of the disease. But from what I've read its really not as bad as the media wants the public to believe. Yes there have been some deaths. But most cases are mild, and almost seem to be less serious than getting a flu-bug. Yes novel coronavirus is contagious. But there are more contagious and more serious diseases out there. There are great examples of what to expect when a real threat comes. Unless you've been sequestered from the news, you've probably heard about the confusing rush on toilet paper and bottled water because of the fear of ...getting sick. Seriously?!! Think about it. How does getting sick threaten the water supply? Are people afraid the water is going to get contaminated and become i

Socialists are lazy cowards

Okay, so I need to explain what I mean by socialists being lazy and cowards. First, I know many do work hard to support and provide for their families. And many are willing to stand up and defend themselves and even their rights. Here's what I mean by lazy. On a simplistic economic view, socialists want the government to provide things for them be it medical care, education, jobs, food, etc. Socialists want equal and fair distribution of wealth. They believe everyone should receive the same. Those who work harder and earn more should give more, and that "more" should be given to those who have less. Those socialists who have less believe they deserve more without having to earn it, and simply because it is their "right" to have as much as others. Socialists feel entitled to what is not theirs, simply because they want it and think they deserve it, and it's not fair that the rich have so much. Now, I'm not saying there aren't some very unequ

Utah voters are getting me a little concerned

More specifically, the Democrat voters are concerning me. This isn't to say I'm not concerned with many Republicans because they also have some issues. But this post is about the Utah Democrats. Here's the article that got me concerned "Utah called for Bernie Sanders in state’s first Super Tuesday primary" https://www.ksl.com/article/46725160/utah-called-for-bernie-sanders-in-states-first-super-tuesday-primary The Democrat primary breakdown for Salt Lake County was as follows (according to  https://results.enr.clarityelections.com/UT/Salt_Lake/102090/Web02.241354/#/  on March 6, 2020): Bernie Sanders 37.16% Joe Biden 16.43% Elizabeth Warren 16.4% Mike Bloomberg 15.73% Pete Buttigieg 9.5% Amy Klobuchar 3.37% the remaining less than 1.5%. And these numbers will likely change a bit as vote-by-mail ballots continue to be counted, but the numbers probably won't change much. Those votes were based on 107,085 ballots. Compare that to the 81,238 Republ
