Fauci's statement supports why the economy should reopen
Yesterday I was listening to some of the replay of Senator Mitt Romney's questions to Dr. Fauci during a hearing of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. Senator Romney asked Dr. Fauci about how likely a vaccine will be available within a year or two. Dr. Fauci stated: "This virus induces an immune response, and the overwhelming majority of people recover. The very fact that the body is capable of spontaneously clearing the virus tells me that, at least from a conceptual standpoint, we can stimulate the body with a vaccine that will induce a similar response.
