Energy of Heart

Moroni 7:48 (https://www.lds.org/scriptures/bofm/moro/7?lang=eng)

"Wherefore, my beloved brethren, apray unto the Father with all the energy of heart, that ye may be filled with this love, which he hath bestowed upon all who are true bfollowers of his Son, Jesus Christ; that ye may become the sons of God; that when he shall appear we shall cbe like him, for we shall see him as he is; that we may have this hope; that we may be dpurified even as he is pure. Amen."

Several months ago I caught the nuance of the wording in this verse.

Before, my mind would generally interpret the statement as "pray unto the Father with all the energy of your heart"

But it says, "all the energy of heart" which is interesting.

It implies that the heart is more than a blood pump. It supplies energy to the body.

This is also one of the few verses I've been able to able to find with the word "energy," which is "power exerted" (http://webstersdictionary1828.com/Dictionary/energy).

So, if the heart can exert power through prayer, we can be filled with the pure love of Christ.
