What's Working Behind the Scenes?

While I think it's very likely Kavanaugh probably did what he was accused of, the questions are:

  • Should these events from over 30 years ago affect his nomination now?
  • Would these events prevent him from performing his duties as a judge?
I don't think either should be the case. The facts that the allegations are from so long ago--even if they are true--and that they were not revealed until less than two months before the mid-term elections makes me believe there is absolute political motivation for revealing them.

In past posts, I've mentioned how I did not think there would be an economic downturn for the mid-term elections because I think they (the deep state, globalists, powers behind the scenes, etc.) will want to save that card for closer to the presidential election.

I don't think the globalists have absolute power over the economies of the nation or the earth. But, they do have considerable influence, and they do have a lot of power. However, because they do not have absolute control, there are possibilities of economic trouble, failure, or collapse when they don't want it. They don't want it to happen unless they can use it to increase their own power, money, and advantage.

The best chance of getting Trump out in the next presidential election is to have either a huge "watergate" type incident/scandal (which may be the Russia-Trump probe that Liberals are pushing) or to have major problems with the economy. Both would be a near guarantee that he would be out, and the Democrat nominee in.

If they can get Trump impeached, then the VP would become president and it's not as likely he will get the vote if the impeachment happens close to the election--as in late 2019 or early 2020. The Republicans will be challenged to get someone with enough momentum and support from a wide-enough base with that little time. This will be especially true if there is a huge scandal, and the economy has flopped.

If Trump can at least go through an impeachment process, as well as a big scandal and economic downturn, it will likely signal a Democrat president and majority in both houses of Congress will be elected.

So, I think the gamble is to keep Kavanaugh from getting the approval and to try to get a majority in at least one of the houses of Congress.

Even just the majority in one will allow the Democrats to keep another Supreme Court nominee from getting approved. They will dig up whatever dirt they can, from however far back, and they will feign the high moral ground.

When they get a Democrat president, and majority in both houses of Congress, they will then push their nominees through, even despite any and all accusations and dirt that is dug up.

If the Democrats gain a majority in the Senate this mid-term election, it probably won't do much for the markets. Most likely the markets will see it as a check, and the economy will mostly continue the same for the next couple years. Neither extreme Democrat or Republican economic agenda will get pushed through, so they run business as normal.

Then, with Democrats in full control, we will see some sweeping changes, particularly those infringing more on Constitutional rights, and with increasing invasive government control and involvement.

The majority of the people will see these as victories. Minor trouble will be blamed on the previous administration, which will work for a few years.
